Homework Club

A new club has started at Benton Park. Its available to use during Dinner break and it allows you to finish any unfinished homework that you have due in for the next few days. The club is in F10 and you will need to collect a pass from the site team to use the club. You don't have to use a computer but the computers are available to assist if you so need one. However places are limited as it is a computer room so there are only so many computers available. Join in the club today and get that unfinished work finished as it could save you time later in the day. (There will be no access to games during this club).

Do you like writing? Well this is for you!

Do you want to be a reporter for the students website?

We also need the reporters to keep their year groups pages up to date with trips, sports, clubs, awards etc.

So do you want to be a website reporter for the student’s site? Well visit the contact us link at the top left hand side of the page or come and see us during extended form after 8:45am!

New Reward System

The schools new rewards system is VivoMiles!

What is Vivo?
VivoMiles is an online rewards system for school. It allows teachers to award students electronic points called “Vivos” for good work, effort etc, which students can choose to save, donate or spend on the rewards they want from a customisable online catalogue.

What can we get with them?
Basically, a large selection of goods from the Argos catalogue including sports equipment, beauty products and electronic gadgets, as well as cinema tickets, tenpin bowling tickets, New Look and WHSmith vouchers. The school decides which of these products the students have access to, if at all. Indeed, the school can always add their own products to the shop quickly and easily.

What do you get them for?
Anything that the school decides to award them for! The school sets the rewards categories; these could be, for example, great academic work, good behaviour, involvement in extra-curricular activities, participation in sport, good attendance. So basically 1 credit = 1 vivo!

Want to know more about Vivo's then use the link on the 'Other Website Links' menu to the left of your screen!
